Karen Suggs

Karen Suggs grew up in Champaign, IL on a farm and has fond memories of her "farm girl" days. Karen attended Eastern Illinois University and graduated with a degree in Finance. She ran her own business KSB Benefit Consultants, Inc. for 15 years. However, she is now the "voice" of Water Gait Veterinary Rehabilitation. She answers the phone most of the time and is the scheduling diva. Known fondly as "Auntie Karen" to the Water Gait patients-she always has a smile on her face and a treat in her hand!

Karen lives in Canton with her husband Jim and daughter Kate. In addition, her cat, Gracie, runs their household.

Molly Esper

Molly Esper attended University of Michigan-Dearborn and graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She worked for Ford Motor Credit Company from 1996 until the economic downturn convinced her it was time to "follow her heart" and work with animals. Molly graduated from the Wayne County Community College Veterinary Technology program in May 2012. She is currently attending canine rehabilitation classes through Canine Rehabilitation Institute (CRI) with the plan of becoming a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant.

Molly has a real love for dogs and Molly lives with 7 furry "kids"! and husband Jim in Dearborn. She is pictured with Sasha, Emma, Ellie, Maddie and Cami. New additions are Ben and Coral. In her spare time Molly likes to garden and attend dog shows with Emma and her husband Jim.

Sue Pitts

Sue retired as a Lieutenant with the Allen Park police department after 25 years of service. As a detective, one of her specialities was animal abuse cases. After her retirement, she decided to pursue a second career related to her passion for animals. She graduated with an Associates degree in Applied Science from Wayne County Community College in May 2012 and became licensed veterinary technician.

Sue became a true believer in the benefits of veterinary rehabilitation as she watched Dr. Joyce help her 10 year old dog, Champ, walk again after his second back surgery. She completed her studies in October of 2013 and became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant (CCRA). Sue joined Watergait in September 2012.

K.C. Jorgensen

K.C. Jorgensen graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2004 with a B.S. in biology. She pursued a degree as a veterinary technician and graduated from WCCCD in 2010. She is licensed in Michigan and registered in Ohio as a veterinary technician. K.C. has experience in a variety of veterinary medical fields including general practice, zoo medicine and emergency medicine. Her interest in veterinary rehabilitation was awakened when she trained her Border Collie mix, Molly, in agility to work with children with a group called Agility Angels.

Her goal is to attend CRI (Canine Rehabilitation Institute) and become a CCRA (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistance). She shares her home with her husband Matt, 2 dogs (Molly and Slim) and 2 cats (Barley and Hops). Hops make a cameo appearance in the picture...Barley was camera shy!
